The Data Source Wizard option automatically sets up the symbology's individual fields or sections as separate data sources.
All newly generated data sources are capable of being edited even though they are generated to conform as much as possible to the symbology's specifications.

If you proceed using the Data Source Wizard, all data sources previously defined for the barcode will be deleted. |
Data Source
Get Data From Database: When enabled, specifies that the data contained inside of the barcode will be imported from a database.
Enable Data Entry Controls: When enabled, specifies that the user will be prompted for the barcode's data when a print job is executed.
Required Primary Message Fields (MaxiCode Only)
The codes found in the Required Primary Message Fields section are required when using the MaxiCode barcode. In order to access these fields, the Mode must be set to Structured Carrier Message: 2.
Postal Code: Specifies the type of postal code required by your MaxiCode barcode.
Country Code: Specifies the country code encoded into your MaxiCode barcode. This field is read-only.
Class of Service: Specifies the class of service. This is required by MaxiCode's Primary Message and is not changeable. This field is read-only.
Optional Secondary Message Fields (MaxiCode Only)
When Mode is set to Structured Carrier Message: 2 or Structured Carrier Message: 3, you can add optional fields as data sources to your MaxiCode barcode. To insert a field, simply enable the checkbox next to the field you would like to include.
