You can add a new global data field to your BarTender System Database using the Create Global Data Field Wizard. This wizard enables you to name the new global data field and then opens the Global Data Fields dialog, where you can edit the value of the data source and the data type; additionally, you can apply any transforms you want to the data.

You can access the Create Global Data Field Wizard using one of the following methods:

• In the Data Sources pane of the Toolbox, select Create Global Data Field from the Global Data Fields context menu.

• In the Data Sources pane of the Toolbox, select New from the context menu of an existing global data field, and choose Global Data Field.

• In the Global Data Fields dialog, click .
