Save Embedded Picture

The Save Embedded Picture command, available in the Object Properties context menu, allows you to save the original picture that is embedded as part of your document to a file on your computer. You are then able to retrieve the image and use it in other Windows applications.

When you click on an embedded image with the secondary mouse button on a template, there is an option for Save Embedded Picture. Click this option to open the Save Embedded Image As dialog. Using this dialog, you can specify a file location and file name.

If you imported an embedded image into a template using the Create option in BarTender, then the file name will default to the original file name of the image. If you simply copied a picture into a template from the Windows clipboard, the file name will default to PICTURE.BMP.

To save the embedded image, click Save after specifying a file location and file name.
