Printer Tab

The Printer tab, located on the Printer Code Template Options dialog, identifies the selected printer used to generate the printer code template. You must use a printer driver from Seagull Scientific to use the Printer Code Template feature.

Printer

• Name. Identifies the printer used to generate the printer code template.

• Document Properties. Accesses additional printer options for the currently specified printer. Any options set and saved after clicking on the Document Properties button will be available only for the current BarTender document.

• Printer Properties. Accesses global printer options for the currently specified printer. Any options set and saved after clicking on the Printer Properties button will be available to all documents open in BarTender or other programs. These options may also be accessed by selecting the Printers icon in the Windows Control Panel. For additional information, see your Windows documentation.

• Status. Displays the status of the selected printer.

• Model. Displays the manufacturer and model of the selected printer.

• Port. Displays the port used to communicate with the selected printer.

• Location. Displays the location of the printer, set in the Windows Properties dialog for the selected printer.

• Comments. Displays any comments that have been entered into the Windows Properties dialog for this printer. See your Windows help for information on how to change these comments.
