Edition Requirements Dialog |
The Edition Requirements dialog, accessible from the Help menu, displays information about the minimum BarTender edition requirements for features used in the opened document.
Document Name. Displays the file name of the opened document.
Current Edition. Displays the BarTender edition you are currently running; if you are running in trial mode, this will be the edition selected in the Edition Selection dialog.
Required Edition. Displays the minimum BarTender edition required to print the document as it currently is designed, including all features used in the open document.
Current Document
The Current Document section lists all of the features in use in the open document. When running in trial mode, this section allows you to easily identify any advanced features in use and to easily determine which version of BarTender is necessary to print the document.
For each feature listed, BarTender displays a detailed description and the BarTender edition required to use the feature.
If you select Stop Using Trial Features in this Document, BarTender will remove all the features available in higher editions from the current document. This will allow you to continue using the BarTender document after your free trial period has expired; however, if the design and functionality of your document depends upon the trial features in use, this functionality will be removed from your document. If you do not like the results of the automatic trial feature removal, you can remove trial features individually by opening the appropriate dialogs and replacing them or turning them off.
Administrative Options
The Administrative Options section lists all of the global application settings in use by BarTender. When in use, these features affect the performance of the entire BarTender application, and are not linked to any one particular BarTender document. When running in trial mode, this section allows you to identify the global settings in use and to easily determine which version is necessary to run BarTender in a desired manner.
For each feature listed, BarTender displays a detailed description and the BarTender edition required to use the feature.
If you select Stop Using These BarTender Trial Features, BarTender will disable all the features available in higher editions. This will allow you to continue using BarTender after your free trial period has expired. If you do not like the results of the automatic trial feature removal, consider purchasing a higher edition of BarTender, as the edition you purchased may not contain the desired application functionality.
