New Data Entry Form Window

The New Data Entry Form Window option, available from the Window menu, opens a second window displaying the data entry form for the currently open document. This allows you to display the data entry form, while at the same time, viewing the document's template in another window.

As you add new windows of an open document, BarTender indicates the number of the open windows by displaying a colon and number directly after the document file name (e.g., Document1.btw:1, Document1.btw:2). BarTender helps you keep track of open windows by displaying the document file name and the window number (if applicable), in one of three locations:

• When the active window is displayed at full screen, the file name is displayed in BarTender's main title bar.

• When the active window is displayed at partial screen, the active file name is displayed in BarTender's main title bar. The file name for each open document is displayed in the title bars of the individual windows.

• In all cases, a tab appears directly below the toolbars for each open document and data entry form window.
