Word Processor Property Page

The Word Processor property page of the Text Properties dialog, specifies the dimensions of the object and provides easy access to BarTender's Word Processor.

Word Processor

• Word Processor. Displays the text contained in the text object.

• Word Processor. Opens the Word Processor, which allows you to apply advanced formatting to the text object.

Size and Scaling

• Size and Scaling. Determines how BarTender resizes the object and text to appear on the template.

  • Automatically adjust object height to hold contents. BarTender will define the height of the rich text object based on the height of the object's content.

  • Fixed object dimensions. BarTender will not resize any objects or text. Therefore, any text that extends beyond the boundaries of the object will be hidden.

  • Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions. BarTender resizes the content of the object to fit the size of the object.

• Object Dimensions. Defines the width and height of the selected object. Available for all Size and Scaling selections.

• Content Alignment. When the object's content is smaller than the object's dimensions, specifies the vertical and/or horizontal alignment of the content contained within the selected object. Available when Fixed object dimensions or Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions is selected.

• Content Scaling. Specifies whether the content of the rich text is resized automatically or manually. Based on the Size and Scaling selection, the following options may be available:

  • Scale. Resizes the object's content by the specified percentage. For example, an object scaled at 200% will double in size. (Available when Fixed Object Dimensions is selected)

  • Minimum. Specifies the lower percentage threshold that BarTender can resize the object's content. (Available when Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions is selected)

  • Maximum. Specifies the upper percentage threshold that BarTender can resize the object's content. (Available when Automatically scale content to fit object dimensions is selected)
