IDoc Type Definitions Dialog

The IDoc Type Definitions dialog, accessible from the IDoc Definitions Setup dialog's Modify button, allows you to modify how BarTender works with a particular IDoc type.

The IDoc Type Definitions dialog contains the following options:

• Name. Defines the name by which the IDoc type will be known in BarTender.

• Select Parser File. Allows you to navigate to a parser file. Parser files are obtained from your SAP system.

• IDoc Type. Identifies the IDoc type(s) about which the parser file contains information.

  If the parser file contains parse information about more than one type of IDoc, then the IDoc Type field in the middle of the window will contain a dropdown list of all the types that the parser can parse. Be sure the correct type is selected.

• Segment Release. Sets the IDoc version. You should choose the version number that matches the version of the parser file, or select the top option on the list <Fetch from Default IDoc File>.

• File. Defines the default IDoc file associated with the IDoc type.
