Fixed Width Dialog |
The Fixed Width dialog of the Add Database Connection Wizard is available when Text File is selected as the Database Platform and Fixed Width is selected as the Delimitation Type. Using this dialog, you specify the fields that make up the text file, as well as the width of each field.
Field. Lists the fields defined in your text file.
Width. Specifies the width of each field in your text file.
Insert. Adds a new field.
Delete. Removes the selected field.
View File. Opens the text file in the default text editor.
