Select Records Dialog |
The Select Records dialog, accessible from the Select Records button in the Print dialog, shows a list of queried records. Using this dialog, you can specify what records from your database that you want printed, as well as the number of copies for each record.
Record. Displays the record number currently selected. You can go directly to a specific record by typing the desired record number into the Record Navigation text field. You can also reach a desired record using the Forward and Back buttons.
Selects all records to print.
Deselects all records for printing.
Show All Fields. When enabled, displays all fields, regardless of whether or not they are used as an object's data source. Unchecking this option displays only fields that currently connected to an object on the template.
Refresh. Refreshes the current SQL statement.
Record Number Column. Allows you to select or deselect records to print by clicking on the corresponding Record Number button.
Records Grid. Displays the records in the connected database. The first column, denoted by the icon, specifies the number of copies to print of the selected records. The value entered into the Copies field of the Print dialog is the default number of copies to print for each record. To override the default value, choose one of the following two methods:
Double click on the default value for the selected record, and enter the desired value that is to override the default value.
Enter the value that is to override the default value in parenthesis in the Selected Records field.
Selected Records. Specifies the record numbers to print. You can specify a series of records manually by entering the desired records into the Selected Records field. A series of record numbers can be separated using commas: 1,3,7. A range of records can be specified using hyphens: 1-3. You can specify both a series and a range of records to print using a combination of the two: 1-3,7,8. Furthermore, you can override the Copies setting by using parentheses: 1-3,7,8,9(14),12-40,41-43(14).
Show Records. Specifies the records that are displayed in the Select Records dialog. Select All to view both selected and unselected. Select None to view no records.
