Regional Settings Tab

The Regional Settings tab, located on the BarTender Document Options dialog, enables you to configure BarTender's language-specific options, such as measurement units or reading order.

Measurements and Standards

Units. Specifies the unit of measurement in BarTender. You can select between inches, centimeters, millimeters, or the Windows' System Default. This affects all controls which are related to a measurement of horizontal or vertical distance, such as the height of a barcode, the distance of the human readable characters from a barcode, and the position of an object on the template.
Decimal Symbol. Specifies the character that BarTender uses as the displayed decimal character. You can select between period (.), comma (.), or the Windows' System Default.

Reading Order. Specifies the reading order for all edit boxes in the BarTender user interface.

The reading order of text objects on the template and data entry controls are set on the Properties dialog of each individual object.

Windows Settings. Opens the Windows Regional Settings dialog.
