Compound Style

Compound Style determines the number of lines, along with their pattern, of the lines that compose the selected object. Compound Style lines emphasize their shapes more so, and act as a sort of accent to draw a viewer’s eye to the line in question. Compound Style can be applied to letters, outlines of shapes, borders of various objects, and single lines.

While Compound Style is available for lines of all thicknesses, it is generally much more noticeable on lines with thickness of 2 pixels or higher. The thickness determines the size of the smallest line, and the other lines that are part of the Compound Style are drawn proportionately to it.
