Type (GS1 DataBar)

The GS1 DataBar symbology's type affects the symbologies used and their position. The following options are available:

• GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional. Specifies a code to be read identically regardless of how the scanner is oriented relative to the symbol.

• GS1 DataBar Truncated. Specifies a code encoded identically to any other GS1 DataBar code, but is shortened vertically.

• GS1 DataBar Stacked. Consists of 2 GS1 DataBar Truncated codes stacked on top of one another.

• GS1 DataBar Stacked Omnidirectional. Consists 2 GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional codes stacked on top of one another.

• GS1 DataBar Limited. Specifies a smaller GS1 DataBar code, similar to the Truncated code.

• GS1 DataBar Expanded. Specifies a larger GS1 DataBar code.

• GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked. Consists of 2 GS1 DataBar Expanded codes stacked on top of one another.
