Sizing Mode

DotCode symbols can vary in shape from nearly square arrays of dots to slender ribbons. The Sizing Mode option determines the shape of the DotCode symbol by specifying the configuration of the array of dots.

The following options are available:

Printer limitations and label layouts may impose a height limit (i.e., the number of rows). Alternatively, square shaped dot arrays, as opposed to long ribbons, are easier to frame and read with hand-held image readers. When possible, aspect ratios between 1:2 and 2:1 are recommended.
