Ratio

The wide-to-narrow element ratio of a barcode defines the ratio between the widths of the wide and narrow elements in a barcode. The default setting for the Ratio option on the Symbology and Size property page is "Auto," which allows BarTender to select whatever ratio it thinks is best (2.5 to 1 on laser printers and 3.0 to 1 on dot-matrix printers). However, you can specify any ratio from 2.0 to 1 through 3.0 to 1 in one-tenth increments.

This option is disabled if the symbology does not allow a choice of ratio.
