Prefix (PDF417)

PDF417 supports the following prefixes:

• None. Encodes the data without a prefix.

• Linked to Linear Component (GS1 Composite). For more details, please consult your symbology specification.

• Linked to Linear Component (Other). For more details, please consult your symbology specification.

• Reader Initialization. Indicates that the symbol encodes a message used to program the reader system.
