Arrange Menu |
The Arrange menu options perform two types of functions:
Combines multiple objects together into a group that can be moved as a single object.
Provides some advanced ways of positioning objects relative to one another.
Ordinarily, basic mouse motions are sufficient to organize and position objects on a template. Sometimes, however, you may need more advanced control over the layout of the objects on a template, as provided for in the Arrange menu.
The Arrange menu options are summarized below.
Order. Opens a submenu, which allows you to move an object in front or behind other objects that overlap it.
Move to Layer. Opens a submenu, which allows you to move the selected object to the layer of your choice.
Group. Combines two or more objects into a single group to allow simultaneous positioning or modification of all the objects in the group.
Ungroup. Breaks apart a group of combined objects.
Align. Organizes selected objects into rows or columns and adjusts the horizontal and vertical spacing between objects.
Rotate. Rotates individual objects and groups of objects on the template.
Lock. Locks the selected objects so that they cannot be moved, resized, or rotated.
Unlock. Unlocks the selected objects so that they can again be moved, resized, or rotated.
