The Size control is available for both 2D-Pharmacode and Data Matrix symbologies.
The Data Matrix barcode is made up of columns and rows wherein data is stored. Most Data Matrix barcodes will contain an equal number of columns and rows. However, symbol type ECC 200 allows for some barcodes to have more columns than rows.
As a variant of the Data Matrix symbology, 2D-Pharmacode supports the same sizing options.
In addition to a list of preset dimensions, the Size option contains auto generate settings for specifying whether or not a barcode will have an equal number columns and rows. The two settings are described below.
Auto-Square. Draws the barcode symbol with an equal number of columns and rows.
Auto-Rectangle. Draws the barcode symbol with more columns than rows. To use this setting, the amount of data must be small. If the input data is larger than will fit into allowed rectangle sizes, the barcode symbol will be printed as a square.
