Embedded Revision Log Dialog

BarTender has the ability to log information about a document each time it is saved. This information is saved as part of the document in a revision log. Once revision logging is enabled in the BarTender Document Setup dialog, you can view the contents of the revision log using the Embedded Revision Log dialog.

The Embedded Revision Log dialog, accessible from the File menu, lists information about the active document each time it was saved. Using the revision log, you can:

• Determine how many times the document has been saved

• Identify the date and time of a particular modification

• Read user comments entered about the document

• List the users that saved the document
