Effects Property Page |
|
The Effects property page is accessible from both the Object Properties dialog and the Control Properties dialog. For simplicity, the below content references objects but applies to controls as well. |
The Effects property page allows you to apply advanced formatting options to pictures or other objects on your template or data entry form. As you change any of the settings, the object displayed on the template will update to reflect the changes. Using the Effects property page, you can flip an object, inverse the colors, or change the transparency of the selected object.
Effects
Mirror Horizontal. Flips the selected object about the horizontal axis.
Mirror Vertical. Flips the selected object about the vertical axis.
Negative (Inverse Colors). Inverts the colors of the selected object. When selected, the dark areas of the selected object become bright, and bright areas become dark, like a photographic negative.
Transparency. Determines the degree to which the selected object allow objects under it to be seen. "Full transparency", a value of 100%, causes the color to be completely invisible. Any value less than 100% causes "partial transparency", much like seeing objects through a colored piece of stained glass.
