True Type Font Warning Dialog

The True Type Font Warning dialog is a print-time dialog that displays at the beginning of a print job when all of the following conditions are true:

While TrueType fonts have some advantages, such as items printing exactly as they appear on the template, their use may significantly reduce performance on thermal printers. The settings in this dialog enable you to specify whether you want TrueType fonts to be replaced at print-time by the built-in printer font that most closely resembles it. Depending on the complexity of the templates in your document, this may significantly increase the speed at which your items print, especially if the text in question changes from item to item.

ClosedTo continue a print job from the True Type Font Warning dialog

  1. Select the option that you want:

    • Continue to print using TrueType fonts: Prints the items using TrueType fonts. Each time a document is printed, BarTender will display the True Type Font Warning dialog, reminding the user that printing performance may be affected by the use of TrueType fonts.
