The Data Edit dialog enables you to quickly and easily change the embedded data contained in the selected barcode, encoder, or text object without accessing the Data Sources property page.

To open the Data Edit dialog, select Data Edit from the Edit menu or by clicking the icon on the main toolbar, then click on the object you want. If it contains more than one data source, it will open this dialog.

The following options are available:

• Data Source: Enables you to select the data source whose value you wish to modify when the selected object contains multiple data sources.

• Embedded Data: Enables you to enter data from your keyboard into the selected data source. To enter a Tab character, use the keyboard combination Ctrl+Tab.

• Data Source: Opens the Object Properties dialog for the selected object.
