Selecting a Data Source

During printing, data from a variety of sources can be merged with your template to complete your print job. The information contained in a single data source depends on the selected data source type, which is specified on the Data Source tab. A data source type defines how BarTender determines the information contained in a data source. For example, you may enter data from the keyboard, read in variable data from a database, or process a VB Script and use the result as the contents of the data source.

Printer Code Template Field
