Select Data Source Dialog

The Select Data Source dialog allows you to specify the data source BarTender will use to perform a function. You may use this dialog to select a conditional statement which determines whether a template will print. Additionally, this dialog specifies the data source which determines the occurrence of a media handling action, such as "Cut and Pause".

• Data Source Type. Specifies the category of data source, such as "Database Field", "Named Data Source", or "Object Value".

• Database Field. Specifies the database field containing the desired information. Available when Database Field is selected as the Data Source Type.

• Named Data Source. Specifies the named data source containing the desired information. Select the desired data source from the list of available data sources in your document. Available when Named Data Source is selected as the Data Source Type.

• Object Name. Specifies the object in your document containing the desired information. Available when Object Value is selected as the Data Source Type.
